  2. What country codes do you use ? Is it ISO 639-2 or ISO 639-1 or something else.

    When do you say that a language is reliable? Is it when 80% of it's words are in that language or is it some other rule ???

    What confidence interval is and how is it relative to the amount of data that we intorduced?

    All this information help us make a decision on how to use the language that has isreliable=false.

  4. I just want to detect my data into 2 languages: English and Vietnamese. Your service is good with English, but with Vietnamese without signals (symbols), almost it can't recognize them
    "Anh khoe khong"
    "Ban dang lam gi do"
    "Dem qua bạn ngu co ngon khong"

    Please help me to solve this problem.

    Thank you so much!

  7. Hey, we use the service to quickly decide on whether to divert to our language translation model. Calling our language model unnecessarily for natively supported languages adds a lot of latency and is inefficient, so we enjoy having the ability to see ahead of time whether we should invoke it or not. Would it be possible to request a basic setup of some US based servers to improve the latency for our chat-sensitive applications (i.e. reduce the latency before a live chat message is posted)? Right now it adds about 100-200ms ontop of the 400ms it takes on our side,…

  10. Can you give an example of using POST method? The manual says POST method is recommended, but "q" parameter is still mandatory. I tried to send my text as POST and get an empty list of detections.

  13. I try entering a list of caption into detect, but I always receive a List[Dict] instead of List[List[Dict]]. I used python, it didn't work in my case so I tried with a smaller code, did not work as well. That is my code:
    import os
    import detectlanguage
    detectlanguage.configuration.apikey = os.getenv('DETECTLANGUAGETOKEN')
    if _
    name__ == 'main ':
    result = detectlanguage.detect(['Buenos dias señor ', 'Labas rytas'])
    print(result)

    And the results is:
    [{'language': 'es', 'isReliable': True, 'confidence': 10.24}]

    Code after the main as indentation, but it is correcting the rendering in the feedback :)

    Update, I didn't find the…
